Arnie Brier

Arnie Brier joined Yardi in 2011 with 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate law. Prior to joining Yardi, Arnie was a shareholder at a national law firm leading the firm’s California corporate department. During that time, he worked closely with Yardi on its company acquisitions. His professional experience also includes serving as general counsel for technology companies and as senior counsel for a Fortune 5 company. He currently oversees Yardi’s Legal and Human Resource departments and manages the company’s M&A efforts. Arnie earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan and his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

What does being a director at MB&T mean to you?

I was raised in Santa Barbara. Joining the MB&T Board allows me to be a part of an institution that epitomizes the Santa Barbara, Montecito, and the Central Coast.I’m most excited to learn more about the operations of MB&T and to serve along side, and learn from, Janet Garufis and an engaging group of Board Directors. I hope my legal and technology background can help the bank as it encounters issues involve cyber-security and adapts to new areas in AI. Mr. Towbes and MB&T’s legacy have been an important part of this community for 50 years, particularly in terms of their support of local businesses and non-profits. I’m thrilled to be a part of the ongoing story.
