There is a certain sense of pride of working for a strong
community bank.
It's not a stuffy environment; it's a fun environment but
it's also very professional.
The bank is serious about doing the right thing for
customers and associates.
It's opportunity and challenge.
The work I've done here is the best of my career.
It's the best place to work.
I feel like I've grown up here.
It gave me my first community of people after college.
What keeps me working here is the people.
The associates really make a big difference from the top
down.
Every day I have an opportunity to work with a real and
amazing group of people.
I love interacting with people. I love working for the Bank
because it gives me that opportunity to do so.
The associates, the customers, just the sense of community.
I love working with our community members. I love working
with youth.
My team definitely is my motivator.
We laugh a lot in our department.
Everybody always seems so happy and willing to help each
other and support each other.
There's a real focus on teamwork and mutual support.
It's much more collaborative environment and you get to work
on a lot of different things.
But also provides a great foundation to do independent work.
It's never boring, I'll say that there's always a lot to do,
there's always new things to look forward to.
I love that every day is different.
I love that it's different every day.
Every day feels meaningful.
No two days are alike.
It's great to work for a company that values giving back to
the community.
Everything we do every day gives back to our community.
I love that my work is directly tied to our local community.
I have a direct impact in the success of our Bank.
I love being able to watch the work that I do make a
difference.
Helping the bank put more money back into the community, put
time into the community.
I love that it makes an impact, the culture that it
consistently inspires.
There's a lot of opportunity for growth.
If there is a particular area I want to continue growing in,
I feel supported and I'm given the resources to do that.
It's an environment of mentorship.
There are mentors everywhere sitting next to you, sitting
across from you, standing on stage, sitting in the offices around you.
Getting to help people be the very best version of
themselves.
Continuing education. There's always lots of opportunities
to grow and learn.
Leadership brings you to the team because they already know
what you're capable of and there is an immense amount of trust.
Our leadership team is running at the front and they're not
just at the top.
And they're very interested in knowing each and every
employee.
They care about what we think, our goals, our ambitions.
They help me see my potential.
Great to work with them on a more personable level.
They are available if we have a question.
We are all accessible at all levels.
Our leadership teams have done an amazing job of putting
people first.
They show up to events. Our customers know who they are, they
are reachable.
They care about me. That they know who I am, they say “Hello”.
How many employees can say that they have access to the CEO.
They do a really good job on communicating to us.
They're very open about trying to communicate the vision of
the bank.
We're all out for a long-term goal and we're all invested in
the community as local members.
I feel proud to work for a bank that is so actively involved.
Montecito Bank & Trust does a great job of connecting us
to the community.
How much we're encouraged to volunteer.
I've had the opportunity to volunteer not only at specific
events, but also serving on boards.
The Bank allows time for all associates to get involved in
what their heart follows.
Fun in The Sun, any of the triathlons.
The beach cleanup.
Lunch board meetings.
Teach kids. You can share your skills.
The Bank will provide opportunities to do so even during the
workday.
Those opportunities come right to you and all you have to do
is put your name down.
There's not a cap on how many hours I can volunteer.
We recognize people for their volunteer activities, and I'm
always so impressed when I see the numbers and the way that people are out
there in the community.
And I think it speaks to the culture of community
partnership at the bank.
