Intuit® Direct Connect and Web Connect Services

Intuit offers two methods of connection with Online Banking systems, Web Connect and Direct Connect. We are pleased to now offer BOTH Web Connect and Direct Connect so you can choose the method that works best for you.

Whichever you choose, reconnecting your accounts is quick and easy!

Direct Connect

Quicken® or QuickBooks® will connect automatically with Montecito Bank & Trust Online Banking.

Web Connect

You control when you import transactions by manually downloading a file from Online Banking and importing the file into Quicken® or QuickBooks®.


Steps to Reconnect Your Account

At the time of conversion, you will need to perform the following instructions exactly as described and in the order presented. If you do not, your online banking connectivity may stop functioning properly. This conversion should take approximately 15 minutes.

The first step to reconnecting your accounts is identifying the correct connection method in QuickBooks or Quicken when you search for Montecito Bank & Trust:

Montecito Bank & Trust DC = Direct Connect

Montecito Bank & Trust WC = Web Connect

Important Step When Connecting with Direct Connect

To authorize:

  1. Log into Online Banking with your credentials

  2. In Online Banking, go to More Options – Authorized Apps

  3. Click PFM Client, and then click Authorize
