Charitable and Social Organizations are defined as non-political fund-raising organizations engaged in soliciting charitable donations/contributions on behalf of organizations engaged in social welfare services, or social service organizations engaged in social welfare services. This Merchant Category Code (MCC) also includes crowd funding merchants that accept donations on behalf of individuals raising money for various causes without receiving any perceived or actual financial benefit for doing so.
The New Year Essentials reward categories include service stations, automated fuel dispensers, grocery stores, and supermarkets.
Dining Out reward categories include restaurants, bars and wineries.
The Summer Shopping reward categories include clothing, wholesale, and department stores.
The Away for the Holidays reward categories include ride shares, airline tickets, and lodging.

Reward Details

How do I enroll?	Enrollment is automatic, you earn points starting from your first purchase.
How do I earn rewards?	Each $1 spent on purchases will earn 1 point. Each point is valued at $0.009 as cash back.
Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?	There is no limit to the number of points you can earn with your Preferred Rewards card.
What happens if I spend more than $5,000 on a qualifying bonus rewards transaction?	You will receive 3x points per dollar on up to $5,000 on a qualifying bonus rewards transaction. 1x point per dollar will be applied to the remaining amount of the transaction.
Where can I see the points I earned?	The total number of points will display on your monthly account statements and in the uChoose rewards portal.
How do I access the uChoose Rewards portal?	You can access the uChoose rewards portal by logging into the MB&T Credit Card portal and clicking the uChoose logo.
How do I redeem points?	To redeem your points, log into the MB&T Credit Card portal and click the uChoose logo. Rewards must be redeemed online.
How can I use my reward points to donate to a nonprofit?	There are two ways to donate. In uChoose, you can select Gift Cards – Charitable Organizations to redeem for a gift card to Charity Choice. Alternatively, you can purchase a merchant gift card to donate to the nonprofit of your choice directly. Additional information about Charity Choice Gift Cards: Not redeemable for cash or merchandise. Never expires. CharityChoice Gift Cards is a project of Special Kids Fund (501c3, EIN 58-2550249). Funds are distributed to each of the designated charities in one payment, as a bulk allocation, quarterly. Keep confirmation of your charity designation and verification of your order from your rewards program for your records. Ask your tax advisor as to your eligibility for a tax deduction. Special Kids Fund receives a modest 10% admin fee which is deducted prior to the quarterly allocation of the funds to the charities. CharityChoice Donation Cards offer the same value as comparable merchant gift cards and can be ordered for a similar number of points per dollar.
Do my rewards expire?	uChoose rewards points expire 3 years after they are awarded.
When are my reward points rewarded?	uChoose reward points accrued during the month are awarded on the first of the following month. Promotional reward points will be awarded on the day the transaction is completed.
What doesn’t count towards the point total?	Balance Transfers and Cash Advances, either through an ATM or over the counter, do not add to the point total.
