Being prepared is always good thing. We offer two options to help you protect your account from accidental overdrafts.

The Details

Option
empty	Savings Link	Ready Cash Reserve (RCR)
Overdraft Coverage	Link your checking account to your Montecito Bank & Trust savings account.	Link your checking account to a personal line of credit that is specifically designed for checking overdraft protection.
How does it work?	If you accidentally overdraw your checking account, funds to cover your specific checking balance shortages will transfer from your savings account into your checking account, up to the available balance in your savings account.	Upon credit approval, the credit limit for an RCR is $5,000. Should you overdraw your checking account, funds in increments of $100.00 will transfer from your line of credit to your checking account to cover your checking overdrafts, up to your approved and available credit.
Purpose	A back up plan for your MB&T checking account.	Whether it's saving you from the headaches caused by returned checks and non-sufficient funds fees or adding a little extra spending power to your budget – RCR is there when you need it.
Fees	None	$25 annual fee
